About Dr Shah

 

Dr Shah completed his MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine) in 1995 from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan. Dr Shah has worked in Pakistan, for several years before joining Ministry of Health in Malaysia and then later university Malay Medical centre, Kuala Lumpur. His main areas of work were Paediatrics, Accidents and Emergency and General Practice.

 

Dr Shah moved to Western Australia in 2012. He has since worked over in rural WA working at the Geraldton Regional Hospital and as a sole GP in Northampton covering Nursing homes/General Practice and ED. This wide experience both overseas and in Geraldton allowed him to move into General Practice and complete his Fellowship with The Royal Australian College of General practitioner.

 

Dr Shah welcomes patients of all ages and stages of life. He strongly believes in the importance of good primary health care and its role in preventative medicine. When not at work, he spends time with his wife, also a GP and 3 children. He enjoys gardening and cooking as his hobbies.
